All Ireland Winning Captains Visit Scoil San Treasa

While we may have to wait another three weeks for the special visitor in a red suit, Scoil San Treasa Mount Merrion had some early Christmas visitors on December 1st  in the form of Michael Fennelly (Kilkenny hurling captain 2009) and Darren O' Sullivan (Kerry Football captain 2009).The two players mingled with staff and pupils alike. The Liam McCarthy and Sam Maguire cups were also present on the day.

Various children throughout the school interviewed these top players in the search for valuable advice and tips. Photographs were taken with each class grouping and the captains autographed various forms of memorabilia.

Scoil San Treasa thanks Ulster bank for giving us this opportunity to meet with Michael & Darren and appreciates the assistance of the Healy & Gallagher families in arranging the visit of these two outstanding players.
