Over the past few weeks our class have been sent on an art mission. The mission was to make a bird out of recycled materials. We were divided into six groups. On our first lesson our art teacher Jackie Ball brought us on a trip to the natural history museum. There we sketched interesting birds and animals to piece together for our bird.

   My bird (David) was called The dancing Rinkepin.We made the hat from cardboard, the head from a bottle,the body from papier-mache and the wings from wire. I loved making the bird and enjoyed every second!

    My bird(Fiona) was called Fire Bolt! It was made from chicken wire, long tubes and wool and lots more.
