Calendar

As part of our Whole School Evaluation this year, the reporting inspector is to hold a meeting with the teaching staff on Wednesday next, February 10^th. School will close for all pupils at 1.20 to facilitate this meeting. To avoid erosion of pupil-teacher contact time, this meeting will replace the staff meeting scheduled for 1^st March, on which normal closing time will apply. Apologies for the short notice and any inconvenience arising.

Charity Fundraising

Thank you for the fantastic response to our Goal Haiti Earthquake Appeal on Friday last. We raised €2,500.

Valentine’s Disco

The Parents’ Association has organised this function for Friday 12^th in Kiely’s, starting at 8.00p.m. Featuring  a professional dance display and wonderful raffle prizes, this promises to be a great night. Tickets available from any of the committee or from the secretary’s office, only €10.  

Swine Flu Vaccination

We have just learned that this is to take place on Wednesday and Thursday, 10th & 11th March. Consent forms will be distributed next week.
