The Story of Flidias

Flidias was the goddess of the forests of Ireland and the wild animals that live there. The animals loved Flidias. Flidias had two daughters Liban and Fand. Liban was good and wise like her mother and  Fand did not use her powers for good. Fand made her home in a  lake deep in the forest. She took people and animals down to the lake. They were never seen again.
One day Fand took Tuan's son. Tuan went to Flidias to ask for her help. Flidias knew that only the finest music would lure Fand out of the lake. Tuan asked the men of the Fianna to help him find someone who plays the sweetest music. Suamach the youngest bard of the Fianna asked could he play. At the lake Suamach played his harp. Fand rose from the lake. While she was listening to the sweet music, Flidias called out for the son of Tuan. He was restored to Tuan. From that day on nobody went to Fands lake so nobody else was captured.
