On Wednesday the 5^th of February 2003 a brilliant game of Hurling took place in Deerpark Mount Merrion. Mr. Cadigan’s St.Thereasas team vs. Mr. Harrington’s Oatlands team. The first half was very tense with the score being 3 goals and 1 point apiece at half time.

St.Thereasa’s goalkeeper Cormac Ryan kept goal for the first half and Conor Smith for Oatlands.

The final score was

Oatlands:8 goals and 3 points,

St.Thereasa’s:5 goals and 2 points.
