The stalls were books, toys, food, hair-braiding, face-painting, guess how many sweets in the jar, the raffle, magic-tricks, haunted house, drinks and fortune-telling. We raised €1,621.28.we donated €700 each to Down syndrome and The National Council for the Blind. We also gave €221.28 to Cancer Research. I was on the food stall and we received loads of cakes that parents and children had kindly baked for us to sell. I did face-paints and it was great. Loads of people came. We would like to thank everyone for helping to make the day as successful as it was.

There were so many people who wanted to buy tickets that we had to start selling them the day before novelty day and finish the day after. There was a great deal of money made on this stall for Down syndrome Ireland and the National Council for the Blind. Altogether on the day we made €1,621.28.

These charities were: the national council for the blind, Down syndrome Ireland and cancer research. We had a great time and so did every one else that participated. There were a lot of stalls some of these were: drink stall, toy stall, sweet stall, hairbraiding and many, many more!

The Goodies Stall!

There is a lot of preparation that had to be put in to novelty day this year. We had lots of different types of stalls such as the hair braiding, face painting, toys, haunted house, pillow fights, sweets, cakes and books.

Every stall did quite well especially the toys, cakes and sweets. A lot of people went to them. It looked like every one was having a great time even the stall keepers. The raffle was great we made loads of money from that.

Novelty Day turned out such good fun this year. We raised €1,621.28.We are giving are money to Down Syndrome, Cancer & National Council for the Blind. We are really pleased.
