THE POLAR BEAR


  Description
A fat large bear which can weigh up to five hundred pounds and can be about nine feet long. Each paw measures up to twelve inches wide. They keep there fur clean and after hunting they spend fifteen minutes washing there fur. They are champion swimmers and in water they can spot food from up to fifteen feet.

Behaviour
A mother will defend her young if it is encountered by a human or anything else.

Habitat
They live in freezing conditions which can go as low as minus twenty.

Threats
Humans are a big threat to a polar bear. To stop anything happening leave them alone.
