Good morning world

  by David 6th

The sun bursts through clouds

Beating rays onto gods land

Waking the country.

CHOCOLATE

 by Philip 6th

I like chocolate

I enjoy the way it melts

It is very nice

The Weather

by : Shane Rang 6

I live Dublin Where it does nothing but rain,

When it isn’t flooding Cities, It can be a real pain.

In summer it is sunny In winter it is cold

When I throw snowballs My Mum says I am

BOLD!!!

The Weather

by : Jenny Rang 6

I live in Ireland, as you know,

The weather here is not usually snow,

It is rain, wind and sleet,

All the time on the streets.

In summer it is hot and warm,

When lots of farmers pick their corn,

I go down to Wexford where we have lots of fun, when we always play in the sun.

MY BABY CHICKEN CHUCK

by : Sarah Rang 6

My baby chicken Chuck is

Fluffy and yellow

And always takes charge around the yard

He marches around and makes

Sure all the animals are being good

He always has his pick on food first

And shows off his tricks in the pond

But after a long day he

Snuggles up and sleeps the

Whole night through!!!!

 Tooth fairies

by : Orla Rang 6

There are thieves, who come into my room at night,

They steal my teeth, and give me a fright,

They (sometimes) leave a coin under my bed,

When there is a throbbing pain in my head,

Because sometimes I don’t need my teeth out,

Sometimes they pull them and I scream and I shout,

They say leave your teeth and the fairies will come,

But now I know better, and I try to show Mum,

That they’re not something special, they’re bad, they’re mean,

So I’m working on a destructive fairy- eating machine.

               During the night…

BY : Niall Rang 6

During the night in the curtains I see different types of persons,

I hear their voices screaming and shouting running around with their friends,

and pouting sometimes if you listen very closely you can here them fighting

Mostly, I put my head under the covers but you can’t escape the dark night voices.

Christmas

by : Eimear Rang 6

Hands chapped with cold.

Feet warm by fire.

Spirits high with excitement.

Tummy filled by food.

All the holly and presents

Puts you in a Christmas mood

Bumble Bees

By : Lauren, Donal

Bumble bees, bumble bees

They buzz around in the trees,

From place to place,

From town to town,

Going up and down up

And up and down

I once saw a bumble bee

And went around shouting

‘ It’s going to sting me’

It got me on the head

And I was sent straight to bed!

If you see a bumble bee

Don’t get in a fight

You will only get a bite

And that can be quite a sight

My Summer

by : Ciarán Rang 6

My summer is warm and cheery,

It’s not all cold or incredibly bleary.

We go to beaches & swim every day,

We relax in the sun for June and May.

The waves will crash, the birds will sing,

They’ll be thinking of the previous spring.

The holidays we go on,

Will be remembered,

When we’re in school on the 1st of September.
