HOUSES:
Most of the Vikings lived on
farms. Their houses were built out
of wood, stone, blocks of turf, with thatched or turf roofs. Their houses did
not have much light because of the small amount of windows.
CLOTHES:
Most of the clothes were made
out of wool or linen but some rich people wore silk. To dye their clothes they
used plants. The colours most commonly used were brown, green, yellow and red.
The Vikings decorated their own collars, cuffs and hems with brightly coloured
patterns.
